Many of my recipes tend to have a lot of ingredients, but I like a simple recipe as much as the next person. And sometimes it’s really the only thing to do, especially if you have limited time.
It doesn’t necessarily take 47 ingredients to make a great recipe, and sometimes more is just more, and not necessarily better.
You’d be surprised at all the deliciousness you can make for snacks with just a handful of ingredients.

My grits bread is super flavorful and soft, stays fresh for days, and also makes excellent burger buns.
Savory pumpkin bread also contains 8 ingredients (not including what you need for the applique process) and is a lovely loaf to share at Thanksgiving.
These lovely cheese rolls are made with instant mashed potatoes and are great to serve along any meal. They’re soft and squishy and delicious!
If you’re ever looking for an easy dessert recipe, no-churn ice cream is the way to go. I have several examples on the site that contain 8 or fewer ingredients.
One of my favorites is this peppermint ice cream. Perfect for the holidays and so much tastier than store-bought.
Homemade caramel vanilla ice cream also is fabulous and clocks in at a mere 4 ingredients.
