Turkey Shepherd's Pie with Stuffing Crust

Here's what you'll need to make this recipe.

To use leftovers, use what you have. Examples: *Cranberry sauce *Turkey gravy     *Green beans *Mashed Sweet Potatoes *Creamed Onions        *Etc.

Substitutions

Cook onions, carrots, and celery in butter. Once softened, add flour. Add turkey stock, poultry seasoning, and rest of ingredients.

Press stuffing into a pie pan and prebake. If it slumps, push it back into place. Add the filling ingredients to the baked stuffing crust.

Top with mashed potatoes. Remember, if you're using leftovers, use what you have. This isn't a hard and fast recipe. It's a fun way of presenting a meal!

Bake your turkey shepherd's pie at 400F for 30 minutes tented with foil, and then for 30 more minutes at 375F. Let your pie sit for 20-30 minutes before slicing and serving.
