The Best Peppermint Ice Cream  Recipe

pastrychefonline.com

No-Churn | Only 6 Ingredients

You can flavor this ice cream with peppermint oil or peppermint extract. You'll need more extract than oil. The food coloring is optional, and you can use either pink or green depending on your preference.

Ingredients

sweetened condensed milk heavy cream                 salt peppermint oil      food coloring      peppermint candies

Crush candies.  Whip cream, sweetened condensed milk, and the rest of the ingredients until thick.

Fold in the crushed candies, and pour into a freezer-safe container. Press plastic wrap onto the surface of the ice cream and freeze at least 6 hours.

Serve with additional crushed peppermint candies on top, or serve as-is. It is really refreshing and tastes almost exactly like store-bought, but with fewer ingredients!

It would also be delicious as the filling for ice cream sandwiches between chocolate cookies, like these naturally gluten-free chocolate crinkle cookies. Get that recipe by clicking below.
