–1 1/4 C flour
–3/4 tsp baking powder
–12 oz butter
–2 oz cream cheese
–4 oz chocolate
–9 Tbsp cocoa powder
–1 tsp salt
–2 1/4 C sugar
–2 1/2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
–4 eggs
--3/4 C strawberry jam
1)Melt butter and cream cheese
2)Stir in chocolate to melt
3)Whisk in cocoa powder and salt, balsamic, and sugar.
4)Stir in the eggs, one at a time, and then whisk in the dry ingredients.
Stir the jam to loosen it, then stir in balsamic vinegar or balsamic glaze to make the swirl.You can use up to 1 cup of jam if you want more strawberry flavor.
Bake until set and shiny on top. If you stick a toothpick in the center, it will come out with very moist crumbs.This will take 45 minutes-1 hour, depending on how large your pan.
Cool and chill before slicing.
They're delicious warmed up with ice cream and/or whipped cream and cut strawberries.
They're equally good all by themselves!
