Lemon powder is made from whole lemons and adds an extra punch of lemon flavor.White chocolate adds mellow, cocoa butter notes.Neither is strictly necessary, but they are both make this the best.
Over medium-high heat, whisk in the cream and milk and cook, whisking constantly, until the pudding thickens. Boil for 1 minute, whisking all the while.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl with the sour cream and white chocolate. Straining catches bits of egg and lemon zest so your pudding is nice and smooth.
Pour into small jars, cups, or ramekins. Serve warm or chilled. It is delicious either way.
