This is what your dough will look like when it's done. Be patient. It could take 8-10 minutes of kneading to get it to this stage.You can see the bacon bits in my "loaded potato" version!
Scale the dough into 18 equal pieces, and shape each one into a ball.Watch that technique here. Use both hands. I only used one so you could see better!
