It’s Friday, and you know what that means! It’s time for our 8th week of Dinner Divas Weekly Meal Plan posts! Don’t forget you can grab all the menus here: Dinner Divas Weekly Meal Plan Archives
This week we have a great combination of treats for you that will have your family looking forward to dinner! We start with a chopped dinner salad, skewer up some shrimp on Tuesday, grill some mondo burgers on Wednesday, make some delicious vegan chili on Thursday and enjoy seafood on Friday with soft shell crab BLTs. Yes. Our extras are a great coffee cake perfect for dessert, brunch, as a snack, or as picnic fare, and some Rosé sangria I guarantee you’ll want to make in volume! Let’s get started with weekly meal plan, week 8!
You’re going to love this crunchy, crisp, hearty, Asian-inspired salad, you guys. Sarah from The Chef Next Door has hooked us up with this healthy start to our week, her Sesame Chicken Chopped Salad. Yes, please!
Tuesday’s meal is easy but fancy. Who wouldn’t want to serve Pook’s Pantry’s Grilled Lemon Herb Shrimp Skewers to their family or their guests?! 8 ingredients and a quick cooking process yield intense flavor with minimal effort. Thanks, Tuesday, for making our lives easier! And thanks, Cheryl!
Sometimes, you just need an epic burger. This week, our burger is brought to us courtesy of Kirsten of Comfortably Domestic. Would you just look at that majestic burger? Pepper jelly on a burger? Um, yes. I give you (or Kirsten does) the Sweet Heat Burger. A burger made of beef and pork and topped with pepper jelly, spicy pickles, jalapeno cheddar buns, and more. Make your list, people, and get to the store!
After burger epicness on Wednesday, for Thursday, I’ve brought you this Easy Spicy Vegan Chickpea Chili. This delicious chili can be on your table in about 30 minutes. Keep it vegan by topping it with salsa, or go vegetarian and add a dollop of sour cream and some grated cheese. Enjoy!
This description of Susan’s (The Girl in the Little Red Kitchen) Friday recipe is going to be a short one: Soft shelled crab. Bacon. Lettuce. Tomato. Avocado, optional (but not really). Make this Soft Shelled Crab BLT, friends. Just do it. The season is short, so jump on this one now!
As always, here are your two extras. Extra one is this fantastic coffee cake from Sarah of The Chef Next Door. Cherry Almond Coffee Cake is made with fresh cherries and slivered almonds, and you’re going to love it. As I said at the start of the post, this cake will do quadruple duty as dessert, breakfast or brunch, as a snack or as part of a picnic. You’ll want this one, you guys.
Best for last? I think maybe so! Cheryl from Pook’s Pantry is hooking us up with this seasonal adult beverage, Rosé Sangria with Summer Fruits. Rosé is the quintessential summer wine. Add to that some St. Germain, a little simple syrup, a little fizz, and a bunch of berries, and you’ll want to be enjoying this one poolside, inside, or outside, all summer long!
And there you have it, friends. Week 8 of our Dinner Divas Weekly Meal Plan roundup posts, in the bag. And now you have dinner covered for next week, with all weekend to make your list and grab your ingredients! And don’t forget to bookmark the archives so you have all the recipes in one place!
