Most Recent Update:
Welcome to our weekly meal plan post for Week 73! For the next however-long, we will be having a rotating guest Dinner Diva poster, and this week, we’re welcoming Rebecca from Foodie with Family! Huzzah! You’ll find Rebecca’s recipe on Friday, so go get to know her!
Now, on to the menu. You’ll be able to tell we’re thinking more Fall-ish with chicken, ground beef, pork, and fish dishes for dinner and a Warming Beverage and very fall-ish cake for our extras.
Get out those shopping lists and let’s get started!
Shredded Applesauce Chicken Sliders with Brussels Sprout Apple Slaw from The Speckled Palate. Pork chops and applesauce is so 1970’s. Let me at these chicken and applesauce sliders, though. And since they’re sliders, it’s totally fine to eat 4, right?
Curry Coconut Corvina with Idaho Potatoes from Pook’s Pantry. Fancy enough for a dinner party but easy enough for weeknight, fish is always a show stopper, and Cheryl’s dish–the flavors and the visuals–is perfect!
Steak Potato Rounds from Comfortably Domestic. I’m making these and then parking myself in front of the television for some serious Netflix action. Who’s with me?
Easy Sloppy Joes from me. I love a good sloppy joe, you guys. This version has honey, ketchup, vinegar and more for a wonderful sweet-tangy take on a classic.
Easy Garlic Ginger Glazed Sticky Pork from Foodie with Family. Strips of pork loin marry with a sticky, sweet glaze. You really can’t go wrong with this one. Thanks, Rebecca, for sharing the goodness with us!
Beaten Coffee from me. I cannot adequately describe how much I love this coffee, you guys. And you make it with instant coffee! Crazy, but so incredibly thick, creamy, and wonderful. And so much less expensive than a fancy pants drink at the local coffee shop!
Spiced Apple Upside Down Cake with Bourbon Caramel Glaze from The Speckled Palate. I have nothing to say other than this cake is a must-make. I mean…
And that brings us to the end of our weekly meal plan, friends!
What are you going to make? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for spending some time with The Divas today. Take care, and have a lovely day.
