It’s week 63 of our weekly meal plan posts, you guys! Crazy how fast the time goes, but we have to eat every single day, right? And we’re here to help! This week’s menu plan helps to keep your kitchen cool this summer by minimizing oven time. Let’s check it out, shall we?
Dinner Divas Weekly Meal Plan Archives
Cheeseburger Kebabs from The Speckled Palate. How much fun are these? Thread all your cheeseburger ingredients onto skewers and grill, baby, grill!
Watermelon Gazpacho from Pook’s Pantry. Gazpacho is a light, no-cook meal that you can whip up really quickly in a blender or food processor. Cheryl’s version has watermelon, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and just a bit of a kick from some jalapeno. Yes.
Grilled Chicken (or Steak) Fajitas from Comfortably Domestic. Choose your protein, friends. Chicken or steak. Then marinate in a zippy citrus marinade, grill and serve with caramelized onions and peppers. Fantastic!
The Best Ham and Cheese Sliders from me. These little guys are my favorites in all the land. You can heat them up in a toaster oven or even a microwave so you can leave the Big Oven off.
Sweet Tea Oven-Fried Chicken from The Speckled Palate. Well, now. Give your chicken a nice soak in sweet tea brine, dip in spiced buttermilk, roll in some panko, and bake. Well now, indeed. Mercy, this sound great!
Sauteed Bok Choy with Gochujang from Pook’s Pantry. Keep your kitchen cool with a nice stir-fry side dish. Hit up your local Asian Market to grab a couple of items (including delicious gochujang pepper paste) and you can have this side dish ready in just about 10 minutes. Nice!
Sweet Cherry Apricot Crumb Pie from Comfortably Domestic. I love it when we end with pie. Like this one. Cherries and apricots hang out together under a buttery, crumbly topping. Yup.
And now we’ve come to the end of our meal plan post. I know you must’ve found at least a handful of dishes to make and enjoy. The Divas would love to hear about them. Leave a comment and tell me what you made and how you liked it!
