It’s our weekly meal plan post for week 61. Time certainly does fly, and the one constant is that we always have to eat. That’s where the Dinner Divas come in to help you plan your menus for the following week. Start making your lists, friends. We have some goodness for you this week including crab cakes, chicken cutlets and espresso bourbon steak for grilling, a rather addictive side dish of zucchini, and scones!
Spicy Chipotle Turkey Burgers with Corn and Avocado Salsa. from Comfortably Domestic. And I see that Red Duck Sauce back there. That is some good stuff, friends! Digging the look (and sound) of these burgers!
Fried Chicken Cutlets with Herb Gravy from me. Well, from my friend Jane from The Heritage Cook who wrote this as a guest post. And wow, I love this dish! Comfort food, but since they’re cutlets, they don’t require a long cooking time. So great for summer!
Bob’s Maryland-Style Crab Cakes from The Speckled Palate. Wow–a ton of crab and not much else, just like a good crab cake should be! Nice!
Espresso Bourbon Steak with Grilled Sweet Potatoes from Pook’s Pantry. Yeah. And that’s all I have to say about that. Lord.
Curried Chicken Salad (Coronation Chicken) from me. The chicken salad that ladies who lunch eat. Creamy, slightly sweet, slightly nutty, slightly curry-ish and completely delicious. So good.
Parmigiano Reggiano Zucchini from The Speckled Palate. Crispy cheese atop plush roasted zucchini. I dig it.
Sour Cream Cherry Scones from Pook’s Pantry. Hello, brunch smackerel. Sour cream makes the scones tender and gives them a touch of Tang. Paired with cherries? Perfect.
