Welcome to Week 45! We hope you’re continuing to enjoy our weekly meal plan posts. I’d love to hear from you to see what recipes have been your favorites and if you have found new blogs to love through these weekly round ups!
And now, it is time for next week’s extravaganza of deliciousness! As always, please feel free to browse the archives to see all our recipes in one place!
Cream of Cauliflower Soup with Browned Butter from me. This is not diet soup. No, it is not. This is creamy, rich, stick to your ribs comfort food. And while I didn’t write this recipe specifically for this, I think it’s also pretty low carb. And high fat. And high yum. Enjoy!
Chicken Pot Pie from The Speckled Palate. Look! Deconstructed pot pie with the biscuit on the side! I love this, and you will too.
Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu from Comfortably Domestic. It always seemed odd to me that anyone thought it was a great idea to roll chicken up around ham and cheese, bread it, and then deep fry it. When you bite into one of those, you take your life into your hands, because that molten cheese and any juices from the chicken will squirt out and try to burn off your face. No. Bake them instead and live to eat another day. Thank you, Kirsten!
Summer Grain Salad with Rainbow Carrots, Heirloom Tomatoes, and Herbs from Pook’s Pantry. Okay, so far we have sor of (totally) comfort fooded you to death. Thank goodness for Cheryl who offers this vegetable-rich, hearty grain-based salad. So good!
Make Your Own Pizza Night (homemade crust and pizza sauce) from me. Rather than give you express recipes for pizza topping combinations, I figure you guys know how to put cheese and meat and vegetables on top of some dough. What you have here are the makings of a pizza party. Homemade dough–enough for a few personal (or personal plus) sized pizzas and homemade pizza sauce that is intense in flavor and easy to make. Have fun!
Vegan Thin Mint Smoothie from The Speckled Palate. Healthy, delicious, cooling. Plus vegan, so if dairy is not your friend, you can still enjoy this fun Girl Scout-themed smoothie from Erin!
Vanilla Cupcakes with Strawberry Cream Cheese Frosting from Pook’s Pantry. These cupcakes are the cutest in all the land. Just look! Pillowy/tender vanilla cuppies topped with Very Strawberry frosting–hard to beat!
And here we are, at the end of our recipe round up for the week. All the Divas hope you enjoy the food! Get thee to the grocery store and head into the week knowing we have your dinner ideas covered. And even if you don’t make all of these recipes, it’s our hope that a few will find their way into your weekly menu plans to fill in some gaps and make your life a little easier.
Thanks for hanging out with us today. Take care, and have a lovely day.
