It’s week 16 of the Dinner Divas’ Weekly Meal Plan, you guys! It’s also the last theme month for awhile. But it’s a good one, and perfect for busy nights: One Pot/One Pan dinners. Sweet!
Skillet Lasagna from Comfortably Domestic: all the rich and slow-cooked flavor of lasagna in about 30 minutes or so. Seriously? What a way to start off the week!
One-Pot Pimento Cheese Pasta from me: This right here? So good, you guys. 4 ingredients and about 10 minutes and you will be in Hea-Ven. We ate this like it was our job and we were getting paid overtime.
Chicken Mushroom Rice Skillet from Girl in the Little Red Kitchen: I am hungry just reading the ingredient list to this one, you guys. Seriously, this dish makes enough for dinner and for lunch the next day. Please make this as soon as possible.
One-Pot Roasted Red Pepper and Spinach Alfredo from The Chef Next Door: Who doesn’t love a creamy alfredo sauce? It is definitely one of my favorites, for sure. Great as an easy vegetarian meal the way it is, but I see no reason you couldn’t add some bacon or some chicken if you want a bit of meat with your pasta. Either way, this one is a winner.
Langostino Mac and Cheese with Crispy Bacon & Chives from Pook’s Pantry: The photo alone is enough to make me want to dive headfirst into this rich, decadent mac and cheese. And there is really nothing more to be said.
Here we are at the extras, my favorite! This week, we have a snack and a dessert for you.
Stove-Top Island Spice Popcorn from Pook’s Pantry: Not only is the Extras section of the meal plan my favorite, but popcorn is also my favorite. I have popcorn for dinner every chance I get! I love the spice blend Cheryl came up with to season her popcorn, and I know you will too.
Vanilla Custard Tart from Comfortably Domestic: Would you just look at this loveliness? Easy to make, and even easier to eat, this is one perfect dessert.
And there you have it. Week 16’s weekly meal plan, in the books. I think you will really enjoy this one pot/one pan meals. Hopefully they’ll make your dinner life easier this week, and do keep them in your back pocket for whenever you want a delicious, easy, and tasty dinner with minimal clean up. Or some popcorn. Or a tart!
