Welcome to Weekly Meal Plan, Week 130! Wow!
This week, The Dinner Divas are bringing The Comfort, so we hope it is cooling off where you love, and we hope you are hungry!
Get Your Lists Ready
This week, we’re bringing the fall goodness, friends: pumpkin pulled pork, Autumn minestrone, loaded potato soup (a bit lightened up), a smashed burger with BBQ bacon, and French onion poutine for your Friday movie watching pleasure.
Don’t miss out on our extras this week, either. Day of the Dead cupcakes and apple pie angel biscuits! Let’s get to it, shall we?
Lighter Loaded Baked Potato Soup
Who doesn't love a loaded baked potato? I know I'm a fan. And now Kirsten brings us this recipe to lighten up what can sometimes be a bit of a guilty pleasure by thickening with a roux and swapping out some of the cream for chicken stock. Winner!
BBQ Bacon Smashed Burgers
If you love a good burger, you will want to make this guy. Oven-baked bacon lacquered with barbecue sauce and spicy BBQ relish join pepper jack to make this one flavorful, tasty burger. And because they're smashed burgers, the burger cooking goes really quickly!
French Onion Poutine
If this doesn't look like something you'd want to keep all to yourself, I worry about you. I mean: start with frozen fries, add a beef gravy and caramelized onions and melt all the Gruyere on top. Seriously, what's not to love?
Day of The Dead Cupcakes
Deeply dark chocolate cupcakes with a little kick topped with a floof of American buttercream and decorated for Dia de los Muertos, Pook's Pantry brings us these festive and delicious Day of the Dead cupcakes. Get thee to thy kitchen, stat!
Apple Pie Angel Biscuits
Southern Angel biscuits raised with yeast and baking powder are also called "Bride's biscuits" because they almost never fail. I love them! And Kirsten has topped them with homemade apple pie filling and a drizzle of cream cheese icing. Perfect for a weekend brunch!
And here we are at the end of another weekly meal plan post!
I am sure you’ll find something here to pique yours and your family’s taste buds.
If you make something from our meal plan, please let us know. We strive to give you menus to make your life easier, and we love to hear from our readers.
