Light Chicken Salad with Lemon Dill Yogurt Dressing
I love a good chicken salad recipe, and Kirsten has rustled us up a winner! Full of vegetables and some sweetness from dried cherries, the whole deal is dressed with a tasty yogurt dressing flavored with lemon, garlic, and dill.
North Carolina Muffaletta
This is my North Carolina spin on a New Orleans classic, the muffaletta. I used pickled vegetables from a brand I love to work with, but you can make the more traditional olive salad if you like. Don't forget a muffaletta when you're looking for a no-cook meal or a dish to bring on a picnic!
BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza
Simple toppings. Delicious pizza. That's how it goes at Erin's place! You can use a homemade crust or store bought one. Pulled pork, red onions, and mozzarella cheese all mingle happily with a simple sauce. I may even have to make a quickie version using a large tortilla and bake it in a lidded cast iron pan on the stove!
Cherry Chutney with Red Onion, Ginger and Whole Grain Mustard
A little sweet, a little sharp, and a little pungent, you'll want to put this sweet cherry chutney on all your meats, or serve it as a condiment on a cheese board at your next party. Cheryl knows what' good!
S'mores Ice Cream Sandwiches with Toasted Marshmallow Malt Ice Cream
Did I tell you that Kirsten is as famous for her ice cream as she is for her pies? No coincidence since ice cream and pie are such good friends! Loving this toasted marshmallow malt ice cream, and sandwiching scoops between two chocolate-edged and sprinkle dipped Graham crackers seems like a most excellent plan!
