This is a sponsored post for ClubsGalore. I’m very happy to be working with them to tell you about their Mother’s Day promotion.
I’m a member of a few groups that pair up brands with bloggers. If I see an opportunity that fits within my baking and cooking world and I know would be of interest to my readers, I apply for it. If the brand decides to work with me, then I get down to work. I have gotten to try some fun products and sometimes get to work with new-to-me companies. In this case, I have the pleasure of talking about “Of the Month” clubs through ClubsGalore. I’ve ordered three or six months of treats for The Beloved before (although I don’t think it was through ClubsGalore), and he has always enjoyed getting his box every month. One of the great things about these kinds of clubs is that they introduce you to new and exciting products, flavors or companies, and it really is the gift that keeps on giving, I love that there’s always another box to look forward to.
ClubsGalore gift ideas vary in both kind and price and offer 41 clubs in the following categories: Beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), Desserts & Sweets, Dinner/Gift Card Clubs, Gourmet Food, Home & Spa and Customer Creations, where customers can customize the gifts to the recipients personal tastes. As part of my post (and purely for research purposes), I got to choose a sample box from whatever club I wanted. The decision was hard. Coffee? Tequila? Bacon? Cheese? Olive Oil? Cheese? Candles? Pasta? Cake? Ack! So many choices! I buckled down, looked at myself hard in the mirror and told myself, “Jen, you can do this.” Then I chose brownies.
I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to baked goods. I get very sad if the flavors are flat or the crumb is dry, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Anyone can call themselves a gourmet gift company, but would they deliver?
What I got from the Brownie of the Month Club courtesy of ClubsGalore was eight brownies, four each of two flavors, from Boston-based Dancing Deer Baking Company. Four Cappuccino Brownies and four Caramel Sea Salt Squares (blondies), all nestled in a cute little green box. I snapped a photo and posted it to instagram and facebook. Friends began commenting that they loved Dancing Deer Baking Company and that Oprah had named them as one of her Favorite Things one year. Things looked promising.
And then I tried them. My friends were right. The brownies (and the blondies) are both excellent. Moist, dense, creamy/fudgy, rich. Wonderful, three-dimensional flavors. Hooray!
If this box of brownies is representative of the quality of all the gifts in all the Of the Month clubs, then you can’t go wrong, you guys.
With monthly subscription fees ranging from under $30/month for a minimum of three months for some of the food items to $125/month for a minimum of three months for the Wine Connoisseur Club, there is a gift for pretty much every price range. I’m pretty impressed with the wide variety of offerings as well as the high quality. I’d be proud to sign my mom (or The Beloved) up for one of these clubs.
If any of the clubs offered by ClubsGalore piques your interest, and especially if you think your mom would like to receive 3-12 months worth of goodies from one of the clubs, please bookmark this post. But don’t forget to order!
Thanks for taking the time to read about my experience with ClubsGalore. I hope this widens your gift giving options for Mother’s Day or for any occasion.
Have a lovely day.
