Y’all, this tomato soup is seriously delicious. The ingredient list is a bit long, but it is so worth it! As a bonus, I garnished with croutons made of grilled bacon and cheese sandwich. Serious comfort here, too!
This version of King Cake is filled with dried cherries and cranberries, but feel free to use whatever dried fruits you like. The braid is also pretty and not at all hard to make.
This version of King Cake is rolled together with a very tasty cinnamon cheesecake filling. A huge hit with us and the neighbors!
And there you have it: 3 savory recipes and 2 versions of King Cake for all your Mardi Gras needs. Not all are traditional, necessarily, but all give a nod to Cajun flavors and Mardi Gras tradition. Eat up, because Lent is coming!
