Guest Post: Orecchiette Carbonara

orecchiette carbonara with bell peppersI’m so excited! I rarely get to write guest posts, but I’m always happy to do it. It is a bit Nervous-making, though. I mean, if you guys come here, you know what you’re going to get, so I feel comfortable just saying…Whatever. But when folks go to other peoples’ blogs expecting to hear from that Person, and then they end up reading something written by me that contains a Very Lot of extra capitalized words, well, it might be slightly Off-Putting.

So, big thanks to my amazingly brave friend Jenn from The Leftover Queen for letting me prattle on over at her place. It’s good prattling, though. Honest. Plus there’s a recipe for a Very Yum quick meal, Orecchiette Carbonara. So, go check it out. Thanks, and have a lovely day!

PS I can’t imagine that you don’t already know Jenn, but if you don’t, you should get to know her. She and her dreamy Italian husband are homesteading in Vermont. They are the Real Deal. They have goats and chickens for eggs and meat, and they make their own kefir and yogurt and stuff.  I’m sure you won’t be surprised when I say that the thought of All That Work makes me want to take a nap, but I am hugely impressed by their dedication to local/sustainable/healthy food for themselves and their family.
